Culture means so many things: religion, climate, landscape, food, values…
Most of the time you see only the differences between your culture and the other. Then we consider carefully, which culture is the better one. It is always subjective to judge about cultures and depends on my own knowledge and experiences with this culture. We judge about other cultures when we have not the same values.
Nowadays, teachers have many different nationalities in their class. It could happen that you don’t know why a pupil behaves, in your view, strange. If you know, that this pupil grew up with other values and habits, you perhaps can connect his behaviour with his culture. Then you can understand, why he behaves like that.
