GLOBAL CHALLENGES:
Our group discussed the topics technology, differences between poor and rich, climate changes, lack of education, hunger, proverty, sustainability, nature disasters, war and crises, food problem and immigration.
In my mind the 3 biggest challenges in the world are the food problem, the difference between poor and rich and immigration. We don't respect our environment. In our society food is nothing worth anymore. That ist why people waste so much food. The cheaper the food the better. No matter how much chemistry is in the food and how we handle our animals. We must learn to respect our envionment again so that the next generations can live without contaminated food.
The difference between poor and rich is getting bigger and bigger. We have to make sure that all people have access to a good education.
Many countrys have problems with the immigration. In my opinion in the future people from different countries will be mixed more and more. We have to accept other cultures and religions and be open for them. I can work on that in intercultural classes. If children are used to other cultures and accept them, they will also have a good deal with them when they are adults.
It was not hard to agree in three answers, because a few points belonged to other points.
The first challenge in the world today we all agreed with was the climate change. It is always a topic in the news and in politician discussions. What are our possibilities to counteract the climate change? It ist important to inform people about this topic. People have to know, that small changes in their everyday life are important. Children should be sensitized to protect their environment. Further there have to be strict laws of the government concerning the industry.
Our second point is the food problem. As everybody knows have many people in the world nothing to eat and others have too much. We have to learn our children a respectful deal with their food to reduce the waisting of food. They have to think about what they eat and if it is necessary to have, for example meat every day.
We also think, that the gap between poor and rich is an important topic in our society. To reduce the poverty, there have to be the right for education for all. In every country should be a possibility for education, especially for poor people. If they have a good education, they can get a good job. Rich people should pay more money in the social and health system.
